Background
I spent eight years working at the intersection of design and engineering — as a frontend developer who cared about how things felt to use, and as a UX developer who could implement what she designed. At Cloudera and Alectio, I owned work end to end: from design discussions through to shipping and validation.
I took extended time away from full-time work for family — and used that time to stay close to what I love. I started The Chaska Life, an independent experience design practice focused on human-centered events and gatherings. It reminded me that good design principles don't live only on screens.
Where I am Now
I'm returning to tech with a clearer sense of what I want to do: design products that are well thought through and well built. I'm actively building my portfolio, exploring AI-assisted design and development workflows, and looking for roles where design thinking and technical ability are both genuinely valued. I learn by making things real.
Beyond Work
Outside of work, I'm usually planning something — an event, a dinner, a gathering. I think a lot about Indian-inspired tablescapes and food as design, and find that most of my best UX instincts come from watching how people navigate real spaces and real moments.
